We recently upgraded from SalesLogix 6.2.4 to SalesLogix 6.2.6 for the DST changes. Along the way, it was discovered that we were on an older version of Exchange Link and we started having strange problems after the upgrade of SalesLogix 6.2.6 (dates changing to 1899, etc.) We upgraded Exchange Link to the latest version and the problems we exeperienced immediately after the upgrade were resolved.

HOWEVER, there appears to be a new feature in the latest version of Exchange Link which causes activities in Outlook to be DELETED when activities are completed in SalesLogix. Does anyone know if this is indeed a feature or is this some kind of configuration option that we do not have set?

Who develops Exchange Link? SalesLogix Tech Support doesn't seem to know much about it.

Did you follow the upgrade instructions exactly ? Dependent on the version you were on - you must delete and re-create the mappings.

Like Mike said.. you MUST folow the upgrade instructions exactly.

It's an "in-house" product (designed/developed by Sage SalesLogix)

There' s really not much to say about it since it's:
A - Not really "configurable" (all field maps are internally hard coded)
B - Not customizable (no vbscripting, etc.)
