I think the answer is no, but I'll ask.  With SLX version 8 on the cloud, can I install and run the network sales client on the Amazon server?  What I'm thinking is that would give me the ability to run existing active scripts against the database until I can recode them in C#.  If that's not possible, I guess another option which would be quicker that recoding in C# is SQL stored procedures.  Since a lot of the code is sql anyway, the conversion to stored prededures would be pretty painless.  Any thoughts on these options (and thanks in advance).

Yes.


My experience from a typical build is that Sage installs the LAN client on the Application Server (if you have multiple servers on your setup, don't look for the LAN Client on the Web Server, look for it on the App Server).
