Import ACI (Area Category Issue)
Posted: 20 Sep 07 2:19 AM
I am setting up Ticket Function and the list of ACI's is quite complex.
There is an export to Excel function in Tools/Manage/ACI so I asked for the required ACI's in same format as the Export output.
I did this cos I assumed there was an import function - but there is not!
Is there a way of imorting these?
Thanks!

Nope.. but I've been thinking of writing one.. something like the generic product import tool I wrote a while ago.
FYI the Product import tool is posted on this site
http://www.slxdeveloper.com/page.aspx?id=35&articleid=69
You could take it as a starting point and go from there... But if you do, please give a copy back to Ryan so that it can be posted to the public domain (on this site).. all I ask is that if someone builds something from what I post in the public.. they also do the same.
