two MAS Companies to a single SLX database/account
Posted: 12 Oct 07 2:48 PM
Is it possible to have 2 different MAS companies write to the same Saleslogix database/account. The AR_divsion and AR_Customer numbers are the same in both MAS databases. I tried to change the company in the DL_COMP_MAP_Head in the sync1 Access database
My first job that import all of the account records works fine.
The test connect works on the 2nd job for the 2nd MAS company but when running the sync all of the records are skipped. (Open invoices for example. )
Ps MAS90 verion 4.1

It sounds like you are using Dynalink here.
Dynalink does not support 2 MAS companies mapping into a single SLX account. It assumes a 1:1 relationship.
This is supposed to change with the new integration. I don't know what the schedule is for that though...
Perhaps somebody else could chime in here on that topic...

I was in AZ last week.. and they are working on scheduling in a beta cycle sometime "soon".... maybe it will happen this year.. maybe 1st quarter.
Oh yes.. you will have to be on at least Slx V7.2SP1 to use it. There are changes in forms/scripts in SP1 just for it. So it has to happen AFTER SP1 is out.
