Exporting Opportunities groups to ExcelYour last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

I have a remote user who has an opportunity group that includes the following layout field:

Opportunity.Opportunity Product.Opportunity Product Extended.Foreign Price Extended

Which formats the field with the base currency specified in his SLX client. Problem is when the user trys to export the group to Excel, he gets an error message "Error formatting cols. Type Mismatch" .

I know Excel can cough if an SLX group has too may rows and/ or columns. This group is 7 by 318 but even if I chop the number of rows down to 10, I still get the same error message. Needless to say, remove the currency format condition and the group exports no problem.

Finally, even if I export without the currency format, I can't apply currency inside Excel. Its like SLX has blocked access to the currency fields.

We are using SLX v6.2 and Excel 2003.

Any ideas are welcome.

Thanks
