Scribe not recognizing custom indexes added to fields used in Lookup Links
Posted: 29 Aug 08 1:43 PM
I am using Saleslogix 6.1 and Scribe 6.2.2. I have run several tests of my dts, and it is running very slow. I noticed on the Performance Analysis Worksheet that it said "Indexed Fields 0", and one of the suggestions was to add indexes to fields used in Lookup Links (they all already have indexes). When I look at the target fields, they are not marked as having an index, although they have custom indexes on the SalesLogix database. How can I get Scribe to recognize these indexes?

I think you need to have the indexes in the database, not just in SalesLogix. You could pass SQL code before the DTS runs to create a temporary index and pass code after to remove the index.
Also if you are doing a lookup on multiple fields, you should have a composite index including all fields in the lookup.
Good luck,
TjD

I do have indexes on these fields in the database. Scribe is not recognizing the indexes.
