Arranging source data into columns?
Posted: 18 Sep 08 3:18 PM
We want to import records into SLX, but the source data is not organized into columns. Instead it looks like this:
ABC Company
1234 Main Street
Seattle, WA 98123
XWZ Company
6789 Front Road
Suite 55
Los Angeles, CA 90210
And so on for 3500 records.
What's a reliable way to arrange these into colunms for import?

So is this in some sort of text file? Your best bet is to write some code to transform it. You could likely split on CRLF+CRLF to get the "rows" and then split on CRLF to get the columns. You'd want to check the length of the second split to see if it has an address2 entry or not. Should be some fairly quick code.
