Hi

1.How to use aggregate formulas in global joins?
2.How to convert a numeric field in a calculated field to string?(like cint(Age))?

John

Regarding #1, you can't, but there are a couple of workarounds.

If you're using SLX 7.x you can create a SQL View that selects IDs based on any SQL you like, then join your view in the query builder.

If you're on 6.2 and you're using a inner join, and you want to base the join on two fields, you can join one field the normal way, then add a condtion like "ACCOUNT.MYFIELD IN (A3.OTHERFIELD)" where A3 is the alias used on the table you're joining to (I just figured this out last week).

I haven't worked with the query builder in SLX Web much, but what I would try is to build the SQL view in SQL query analyzer, then enable it in Administrator.

At that point I would think you can import it as an entity in AA and have it appear as a table in the query builder.

Is there a single quote ' somewhere in the query? If so, you need to add a second quote.
