Hi Guys,
I am working on various plateforms and technologies simultaneously. When I install the SLX , outlook setup is changed and a new button "Send SLX" added in "New Mail Message" screen.
In another application I am calling the client mail object i.e. Outlook (MAPI) through the .Net code . That is an installshield application which packages a number of java and .net components .
At the end it creates a html file and open the outlook with this file as an attachment.

Now , when I tried to create a new package (first time after installing the SLX) , it shows an error message stating that there is an error with outlook.
I guess(am sure) it is due to change in Outlook by the SLX.
My question is .. how to disintegrate the SLX from outlook?
Thanx
-Harendra

Hi Harendra,

The following will unregister the Outlook DLL's - the opposite of the InstallOutlookIntegration.bat file in "Program Files\SalesLogix".

regsvr32.exe slxab32.dll -u
regsvr32.exe slmn.dll -u

Beware that between SalesLogix versions the location of the slxab32.dll and slmn.dll has moved - it has been in "WINDOWS\system32" and also in "Program Files\SalesLogix", now in SalesLogix v7.2 it is in "Program Files\SalesLogix".

Cheers,

Steve
