We are currently running SLX 6.2 LAN which we know will be retired on 2/1/2009.
I have also been notified that v7.0.x will be retired on 11/1/2009.

We have been doing a lot of development to get to SLX v7.2.1.
Does anyone have a ball park estimate of when SLX v7.2.1 may be retired?

A ballpark of a couple more years. Essentially, 7.2 was much more stable than 7.0 so there was a need to de-release 7.0.x so suspect it 7.2.2 will have at least a few more years yet.

Oh, you will want to go to 7.2.2 not 7.2.1 - not that much to it either.

I'd just go to 7.5 (LAN/Windows) and get it over with. 7.5 is really a service pack for LAN/Windows SalesLogix.. and there's an SP1 for it in beta.. expect that to be available within 5 weeks.

7.2.2 is now up to hotfix 18 and you would have to sort thru them to get the appropriate ones.
