Hi guys,

My first time to post here. I'm applying for a SLX development job after 5 years of working full time. I worked on my previous company as an SLX admin. and basically I did a lot of module and interface development with a little vb scripting.

Does anyone know or have any info. about the job market for Saleslogix positions!

Where are you located? Willing to relocate? What other database, network, and software development skills do you have?

Thanks for the reponse.

1. I'm located in NJ. I can hop on a train and get to New York
2. Relocation - not at this time - but if I do decide, I will choose to relocate in Jacksonville Florida.

3. I have no formal training on VB.net programming but, I developed a database application for one of my employers clients using SQL server as the backend DB. The SQL server is setup to replicate the database to other office location.

The application basically tracks certifications of their students. When the project was completed I haven't used VB.Net for a whilte. Below are the list of my skills.

Database Technologies
MS SQL Server, My Sql, Pervasive, MS Access, Dbase IV 2- 5 years

Servers and OS
Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 2003, IIS, Apache 2 to 5 years

Web Technologies and Programming Tools
Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS, Visual Studio 2003, MS Front Page, Crystal Enterprise 1 – 2 years

Languages
VB.NET, SQL 1 year

Business Intelligence
Crystal Reports 1 – 2 years

Contact Relationship Management Software and other applications
Sage CRM, Saleslogix, Act, Goldmine, ESRI Arcview, Microsoft Office Suite, Inaport (data migration tool) 2-5 years

Other
UML, XML, ASP.NET - Novice
