When you insert a new opportunity there's field for Lead Source and I would like to make it madantory for our salesman to supply the info instead of them ignoring it or leaving it blank

Is this easy to do? what do I need to action this, how long will it take me to do it or do I need SLX developer to do it for me?

Is this for LAN Client or Web Client?

On either client you should be able to easily flip the "Required" attribute to the Lead Source Control on the Insert Opportunity Form.

However, each client has a different method for releasing the change out to Users.

On the LAN client, it is enough to Update Releases; however, on the Web client you would have to do a Build on App Architect and then execute a Deployment.

You just have to Open the Form within the Architect.

Select the Control for the Source Field.

On the Properties window, scroll to the "Required" property. It has a checkbox on it, Check it.

Save and Update Releases.
