Hi guys. You may find this as stupid question. I am working in my company on reporting and i have developed vb application for company. Now office gona implement salelogix. My boss has asked me to learn saleslogix (development). He wants me to learn development of saleslogix so i can customise in future.

I am new to saleslogix. Please any one can tell me where to start n which books.

The only book available for developing for SLX is DevLogix (See it listed on the front page of this site)

Thanks for your reply. Is that books good for starter who have no developing experience with saleslogix. I have worked with Java, asp, asp.net, and vb.

It's ok.. it will help you in many basic areas. However there is NO substitute for getting real SalesLogix training..

It's NOT about computer Languages.. it's about understanding Relationship Management systems and their application. The programming is the EASY part.

I'll second RJ's comments. The application context is most important. Then comes the DB desigin (schema) and the application structure. VBA is rather important too, but its more important to understand "what" to do. Once you understand that, "how" to do it becomes (almost) easy.
