SLXKeepLoggedInThread error in Event Viewer
Posted: 07 May 07 11:27 AM
|
fiogf49gjkf0d Getting the following error: The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( SLXKeepLoggedInThread ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: KeepLoggedIn: System Object has no connection..
We've just upgraded to v6.2.6 and have confirmed we're running SLXSystem.exe as a service. Any ideas on what else can cause this ? |

fiogf49gjkf0d For starters - log off the server (or simply reboot) and log back in. Then, if the issue persists make sure you have set all SalesLogix services to run with admin rights, preferably utilizing a dedicated service account. Set "Access this computer from the Network", "Log on Locally", and "Log on as service" rights for the SLX server, speedsearch server, and sync server services. Set full permissions for the library and documents folder on the SLX server. Make sure the SLX Logging folders are shared and accessible by the service account. |

fiogf49gjkf0d Bill,
Another reason for this message could be caused by the following: The user account that updated SalesLogix using the SalesLogix service pack files may now have a corrupted local user profile. Delete the user profile directory under "c:\documents and settings\%userProfile%" that upgraded SalesLogix and log back into the server as that user to rebuild the profile.
It worked for me...
