Button on Contact Detail to run a history report
Posted: 14 Mar 08 4:06 PM
I need an easy way to open a crystal report from the contact detail view. This report should show all history for the logged user for this particular contact.

Mike, i did create the report. The report seems to work fine when I hard code to contactid, but when I try to use Application.BasicFunctions.ReportAddCondition to pass the id , it does not seem to work.
Does Application.BasicFunctions.ReportAddCondition in v7.0.1.
Thanks
Khevna

I do not know about this addcondition from the app object level. Try this and this has to work.(both of this i guess is doing the same thing)
With objReport
.DiscardSavedData
objReport.RecordSelectionFormula = " {CONTACT.CONTACTID} = '" & lueContact.Lookupid & "'" & _
" AND {INF_ACCT_CONTACT_ASSOC.ACCOUNT_ASSOCIATION} = 'Employer' "
End With

Does this method replace our old Application.BasicFunctions.ReportAddCondition commands?
