I am using cystal reports v8.5. Via 'select expert' I already have a number of conditions in my report which seem to work fine. I also need to have a field from one table which needs to equal the data from a field in another table and if the data does not match I do not want the report to display the entire record. Can anyone help me please?

Chokri , go to format sections and write a supress formula , check for the condition and formula = true for you to SUPRESS and False to show the section.

All the other filters are for data coming in or for changing the way , data is read in or soemthing else.

Hi Nandu, I tried this but when I apply the condition it also suppresses other data on my report which should not be suppressed?? Is there anything I can apply for the report to evaluate the data condition prior to displaying?

Managed to resolve this - applied the condition in the formula part of the Suppression option within the Section Expert.
