cheap abortion methods

I have a report on a custom table where a sub group of records sorts fine when you print for all records. But when I add a condition using ReportAddCondition to only filter by the current main record, the sub group record sort breaks.

Is there a fix for this or a workaround to only print the current record without the ReportAddCondition?
