[Crystal] - What does the "No Printer" option on page setup do?Your last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

In diagnosing a problem with a crystal report after an upgrade from 6.26 to 7.22 (where I was getting an NTDLL.dll RtlAllocateHeap violation when you try to print the report the second time - the first time always worked ok) I discovered that the problem seemed to be related to the crystal report's page setup - particularly the printer options and the "No Printer (optimize for screen display)" option.

Turn on "No Printer" and the document prints fine, consistently, no problem. Turn back off "No Printer" and the document gives the above behaviour.

I guess the problem is related to Saleslogix forcing the document in the printer to be a certain printer, but I don't really understand what's going on here. It's not a great answer to give to my boss - "I did this and it works but I don't really know what I did or why it worked." Any help is appreciated in understanding what this option does.
