How do i unrelease groups in saleslogix. i have like 10 -15 new groups in SLX 7.2 which i dont want the users to see. how do i unrelease them?

If you are the sankar whom i know , then you know where to get me to for an explanation.....

If your not ....................

Open slx clilent as admin and go to your group and then click manage the group. then you would be see the access list for this group. IF you share the group , then you can get someone else to start seeing this group. Also the creator of that group (if a user has created that) would be able to do this

Another way is to get to architect manage plugins and control the release from there..

One question: Why do you want these groups unreleased?

Quickest way is Architect - go into Plugin Manager (F9), Select the Groups, ACO from the drop-down. Multi-select the groups you wish to de-release then (F10). Beware you should not do this for system groups (All.. Latest...)

Thanks guys, but the F10 is not working.

To answer Nandu..there are lot of new groups in 7.2.1 which i dont want the users to see..like leads defects etc...
