Slx web reporting portal 7.5.1 hangs

Experiencing daily problems with the web reporting portal 7.5.1. After an unpredictable period of good functioning, the web reporting portal will suddenly hang and subsequent attempts to select and run reports are simple not responded to. No entries in the event log. After running IISRESET on the report server normal report processing resumes.
We ran Microsoft's DebugDiag 1.1 tool and we were able to capture a hang and run the diagnostic reports. Of immediate interest in those reports was the following (which seems to point to SLXWR.dll as the culprit):
Detected a serious critical section related problem in w3wp.exe__SLX Web Reporting 5081__PID__4248__Date__05_29_2009__Time_03_01_24PM__718__IIS_COM+ Hang Dump.dmp Lock(s) at ntdll!LdrpLoaderLock owned by thread 17 is/are Deadlocked through a COM call to thread 20 which is in turn waiting on a critical section owned by thread 17. Impact analysis 30.43% of threads blocked (Threads 17 20 31 32 36 37 38 39 40 41 42 43 44 45) The following functions are involved in the root cause ntdll!LdrLockLoaderLock+e4 ntdll!LdrShutdownThread+33 ntdll!LdrUnloadDll+35 ntdll!LdrpInitializeThread+68 The following modules are involved in the root cause C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntdll.dll from Microsoft Corporation
The entry-point function for a dynamic link library (DLL) should perform only simple initialization or termination tasks, however this thread (17) is using RPC functions. Follow the guidance in the MSDN documentation for DllMain to avoid access violations and deadlocks while loading and unloading libraries. Please follow up with the vendor Sage Software, Inc. for C:\Program Files\SalesLogix\SLXWR.dll
Anyone else having issues with 7.5.1 web reporting? Or ideas about what might be wrong here?
