HI all,

I am trying to propagate ado connection string in appliaction architect .I am getting an error as follows

"unable to propagate connection string :Requested registry acces is not allowed" .As my web reporting server is on different server and my application architect is on different machine.

Please help me to slove this issue

For Remote Registry access, you need to have the necessary permissions on the Target machine and the "Remote Registry" service needs to be running (on the target machine).

Hi Raul,

Thanks for ur reply. What permission shoulld be given and to whom it should be given either the webdll or windows account.

Is target machine means web reporting server or slx application server.

Target machine would be the Reporting Server.

Any permissions would apply to the login you utilize, as you are the one executing the App. Architect. I don't know what level of access you have to the Reporting Server, but if you are already a local Admin that should do it.
