Crystal report changes in dev

Can someone please guide me? I need to modify a report in crystal reports. I haven't done this in a long time. We recently upgraded to 7.5.2 from 6.2.6. I went into architect on the dev side, manage reports, checked out the report, made the changes and saved it. I now want to send the changes to the production side. When I try to put this in a bundle, the bundle is empty. What am I doing wrong? Can someone guide me?

| How about checking the report out and back in again, testing it and then adding the plug in back into the bundle... |

| I have tried that several times. I have even created new projects and bundles and still it does not show up when I go to install the bundle in administrator on the production side. |

| You can always check the report out in prod, save the new report as the old one, then check the updated report back in and release it. Recommended to make a copy of the prod one before copying over it though. |

That is what I ended up doing. But it is very frustrating that I can't get it to work the way I want.
