I have a cross tab where I'm displaying a string field with a max of 250 characters. This part I know is fine. However, when I edit the field in CR, I am unable to mark the check box "Can Grow". How can I make this field grow/wrap???? Help! Thanks

Natalie,

Very interesting. I've never tried using that option in a cross-tab report, but it is disabled for me as well. I've tried a number of things including help. There is no indication anywhere to show why this option would be disabled.

My guess is going to be its a crosstab report and the cell sizes are fixed based on how you define the cell contents (height, width, font, etc.) For whatever reason Crystal (Seagate, BO or whoever the current owner is) decided this would not be an option for cross-tab reports.
