I've been using Crystal Reports since Version 2.0, whats that now 10 years? and wouldn't you know it, the answer for a quick & dirty way of displaying checkboxes has been infront of me all this time.

Change the font of a checkbox read SLX Boolean to Wing Dings 2. A 'T' will display as a checkbox, nulls and empties as nothing and 'F' shows some other symbol so just suppress the checkbox when its not equal to 'T'. I like this approach alot better than T/F or yes/no

Has anyone found something easier?

I hate those nasty null values, so what I did was make all my checkboxes in SLX be "F" by default. Now I don't have to worry about putting a null statement in my reports.

Yup - been doing that for a while - I use a checkbox and a crossed checkbox to display F.
