As ADMIN, my report returns 7 records. As a user, it returns 436. Using SLXProfiler I see it's because the SECRIGHTS table joins inserted by the SLX Provider. There is no way to organized the links in Crystal Reports to avoid this issue. Is there any way to force Crystal Reports to avoid the SLX Provider or a way to impersonate ADMIN? I want to keep all the reports accessible from the Reports area in SLX Web so I would imagine whatever work needed would have to be done inside Crystal. Any suggestions?

Remy:

Are you talking about Data within the Report?

One of the first things I would suggest you do is to review the Design around your Team Structure. It appears that the given user may be associated multiple times into an Owner Profile which is why the Records get multipled that many times.

For instance, If I have an Account Record, and it is owned by the "Everyone" team, each user would have a Single Entry for this team under the SECRIGHTS table, thus they will see the record (and it wouldn't multiply).

From there on, let's say I have a Team called SouthEast, in a perfect word the Sales Rep for this territory should only be listed under the Team once, thus allowing him to see the data (and there would be no duplicates when queried).

That said, within Crystal Report you could enable the "Select Distinct Records" option (from the Database Menu) and it should minimize this kind of problems.
