I've noticed that on certain reports the Admin will get all of the data whereas a regular user will get a subset. For example, on the "Support Weekly Recap - Sample" report in the Tickets family, I as admin get a recap of all users whereas when I login as my regular username I get a report on myself and one other person. Curiously, if I go to a different Ticket report, I'll get myself and a different user.

I thought at first that there was some security issue involved, but since the two reports return different users, I'm now really confused.

What determines which set of data will be returned by a Crystal Report and how can I be sure that when I create a report for everybody, that everybody will see all of the data?

The SalesLogix Provider filters the data based on user Access.. hard coded part of SalesLogix.

It all comes down to record ownership (seccodeid values). If a user can't see a record in the client, they won't be able to see it in a report either. Make sense?
