Hi Everyone

SLX v7.01 - OS windows server 2003 SP2 (also replicated on win XP)
DB size = 400000 accounts 3 million history records

When a user runs a report on the current group, the report is fast (happily).

If they click onto another report and run it for the current group that too is fast

I can repeat the step above and each time all is good, until I choose a report that has already been run, this time the report is painfully slow (over 5 minutes compared to a few seconds).

Does anyone recognise this and have any ideas what could cause the second run of a report to go so much slower.

The same happens if I run report a, click on report b, then click back on report a, and generate the report.

Any ideas?

Nick

A - Is this happening w/OOTB reports or custom reports?

B - Are you adding "filters" to the report?

Cheers RJL,

It is happening with both OOTB reports and custom reports. The only filters being added are the ones added by the SLX field 'Show records that match:' in the reports view. Note the same behaviour is exhibited when using just current record.
